Danny Summers

Baritone

Danny Summers sings baritone for the group. Besides singing, he also plays bass guitar and the mandolin (which has helped him develop a love for bluegrass music). He has sung and/or played for groups such as the Messengers, the Potter’s Clay, and the Keynotes Quartet. Danny was also once part of a group called the Revelations with his brother Lanny (the Crystal River Boys’ lead) and Leon Coomer, the brother of Crystal River Boys’ tenor Harold Coomer. Danny works for Applied Industrial Technologies in Kingsport, along with one of his brothers, Jeff (who has filled in for the Crystal River Boys a few times). He and wife Beverly live in Kingsport, TN.
